This mixer was priced appropriate for it's value, at the retail point of purchase. The bonus comes in knowing that I have a high quality item, which should serve me for years. On a cost per-year-basis, over several years, this mixer is considerably less expensive to own, than the succession of several cheap, lower priced products, which would expire during that timeframe.
