I never had a stand-mixer before be simply didn't have room to store it in my old kitchen, But now, with our renovation complete, my kids surprised me w/ a Kitchenaid stand mixer as a birthday gift. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using my Mother's 1956 stand mixer for several years. Top of the line in its day and still works well when in a pinch. Had an eye on this new red and ready. Mom would have loved it. Pulls together doughs quickly getting projects done faster. Enjoying and using as much as I thought our family would.
