My whole life I wanted a Kitchenaid mixer, but only this year for Christmas could we afford the investment.
I was so excited that I would have a mixer that would not rain flour on me and make my Christmas cookie weekend easier. Overall, yes it will be easier. No mess, mixes excellent. Glad I got it and it's a great investment.

I was very displeased with what seemed to be a polishing agent on the bowls. It completely deflated my sense of achievement and success with the first batch, when my sugar cookie mix turned black nearest the bowl. I had washed it several times and was shocked anything could have been left on the bowl. Even after ruining that batch and washing the bowl extensively again, it ruined the next batch. My husband was very upset and bought the glass bowls.
I didn't have time or energy to be calling Kitchenaid for help. Friends suggested calling customer service and some friends had suggestions for getting the grime off. Nearly everyone was shocked I was having trouble with the much loved Kitchenaid product.
