[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rec'd this for Christmas as a gift. Very nice, and everything I have done so far with it I am pleased with the results. My only negative is that it does not disconnect from the stand so when I make my huge batch of mashed potatoes I will have to dump them out of the pan and mix a few at a time in the mixer bowl. Not very excited about that. Other than that I am pleased with this mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mixed Christmas cookies for a Cookie Swap (seven dozen) in a quarter of the time than I would have with a traditional mixer. Which gave me more time to enjoy other holiday happenings AND my cookies won an award!! I’m so thankful for my KitchenAid!!!

After trying out my sister's KitchenAid mixer, I just had to have one for myself. I have a small cake decorating business, so I do alot of mixing...and frostings just get too thick for a simple hand mixer. I love that I can just add the ingredients to the mixing bowl, turn it on to the setting I prefer, and go about doing other things while it is mixing. If I could change just one thing, I think I'd request that the mixer would be able to scrape all the way to the edge and bottom of the bowl better. I have to mix it in by hand in the middle and at the end, especially when I am coloring frosting with gel food colors. Otherwise, I love my KitchenAid and would recommend it to anyone.
