Cakes have never been better! Whipped potatoes are sooo much better. Even if you classify yourself as a rank amateur you should have this machine in your arsenal

Very good, can be The Best with few improvements

Hi!
We just bought this KSM150PSER model with 5 Qt bowl. After first use in which I made Banana bread, Sugar free Pillsbury Chocolate Cake. Following things I noticed, which will add value to it.
01. The bowl: There should be two-bowl option, 3 Qt & 5 Qt options as standard or may be an option to give small families like ours, an option to use it every day. 5 Qt bowl is large for a standard family of 4-5 people.
02. There should be laser etching about the cup size measurements. There are bowls in the market like that. You would know how much the cake mix you have in bowl.
03. The clear lid is really a joke. It does not snap in. Product managers did not realized it, I am amazed. Redesign the clear lid and make sure it snaps in and does not fall off.
If KitchenAid does these two improvements, they will be the best in the market. I have tried a cheaper version of this stand mixer before buying this more expensive one within two weeks. However cheaper version of the mixer has lower sound level as compared to kitchenAid.

Makes baking fun. Not great for your simple chocolate chip cookie recipes but awesome for just about anything else. Excellent for a made from scratch carrot cake especially with the rotor slicer shredder attachment used on the carrots.
