Attachments failing

I have had my Artisan mixer about 5-6 years. My paddle and dough hook attachments are cracking at the attachment base and also the bottom - the enamel is starting to chip away. Really frustrating, as my mom has had her KitchenAid for like 25 years and has needed no replacement parts!! Also, the bowl is quite small. With quite a few recipes, the dough or whatever it is flows up and over the attachment. I wish I got the larger, more professional model with stainless steel attachments. Hoping their is a recall for attachments that shed plastic into my food.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a kitchenAid stand mixer, I finally got one for Christmas and let me just say, it was well worth the wait!!
I purchased this after watching many episodes of the Great British Baling Show and tried sevral of their recipes using my KitchenAid. GREAT RESULTS EVERY TIME
A friend of mine stoped by while I was making some sausage balls that I was mixing by hand. She said I was crazy, Lol! After letting me borrow her KitchenAid, I fell in love with with how easy this made mixing. My husband purchased one for me for Mother's Day. I just absolutely love it! Wish I had one years earlier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought artisa stand mixer 5 quartz three weeks ago It runs good, the problem I’m having is that the plastic pouring shield won’t stay flat around the bowl and it makes lot of spilling every time I used it.
The pouring shield is crooked where the opening cut is, one end is higher than the other.I wish I can get replacement for it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been wanting one of these forever. My daughters and dil's got this for me for Christmas and I was so excited. Started trying it out the next day and it has not disappointed. I bake often and during holidays, I prepare hundreds of baked items. Save yourself $$ with the cheaper mixers. Invest in one of these today and you'll be happy for life.
I've been wanting to get a stand mixer for quite some time and I love my KitchenAid! The color options are an added bonus. I like that the bowl has a handle, and the slightly larger capacity is great. I've used it with the ice cream attachment too and it was so easy to use.
