VERY easy to use, love the style! I've always wanted one of these products. Not only because it helps me with my various baking and cooking that I do a lot but it also is a very TRIED and TESTED product. Meaning, that I know a lot of people that have these and have had them with no problems for 50 years or more... The only reason I buy products is because of the reviews and if friends/ family members have enjoyed them and haven't had any difficulties with them over the years. I am a Chef and this product helps me a lot with my day to day activities and also with cooking competitions. Thank you!
Pros: easy to use, Convenient Features, Performance, Design, no directions needed! very self explnanitory.
Cons: would love to have the option to add bigger bowls.

I am a senior citizen and always loved to bake for my children and grandchildren. But over the past few years, with the onset of osteoarthritis, the mixing of the ingredients by hand has caused pain in my hands and arms for days afterwards. I thought I would have to give up baking for my family. One day, while surfing the internet, I saw the Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer. After reading about it I decided that it was the perfect solution to enable me to continue to bake for my family. Not only do I use it for baking goodies, I also use it to mix my meatloaf!

I was almost more excited about registering for a KitchenAid Mixer than I was about my actual wedding!
I grew up watching my mom cook with her KitchenAid mixer for most of my life, so it was no surprise when she was the one to purchase me a KitchenAid Mixer for my wedding. I have used my mixer for bread, pizza dough, cookies, frosting, and all sorts of other goodies with no issues. The recipes in the cookbook it comes with are great starters- I never made bread before getting this mixer, and my first loaves came out beautifully after following their recipes. Having a handle on the stainless steel bowl is a huge help for me with pouring, and I love the fact that the bowl shield is now one piece (my mom's was two and kept popping apart). It does a decent job of controlling the addition of dry ingredients. Cleaning the accessories is super easy with a quick soak, and wiping down the mixer each time keeps it shining on my counter.
It is quite heavy, but if it was any lighter I would worry about it staying in place while churning really thick mixtures... so I just use the weight as an excuse to keep it on my counter. With all color choices it is easy to pick something you would want to look at. :)
