I was using a hand mixer trying to do my baking for the holidays. I burnt up the hand mixer. I knew I needed to buy a heavy duty mixer for the baking that I needed to do.
I purchased a different brand name stand mixer,thinking it would be equivalent to the KitchenAid. Boy was I wrong, I took it back after using it once and went and purchased the KitchenAid.. Best decision I could've ever made! It worked so much better, much quieter and more features. I also purchased the paddle with scraper.
It made all my baking much easier.

My sister -in law was purchasing one for herself and knows how much I love to bake , and convincted me to get one too. I love baking, and over the years my arms get tired and sore of stirring. the kitchen aid is making my life much easier. I the only thing is it is very heavy for me to move So it sits on my counter. Its a beautiful mixer to display.

I received the mixer and the meat grinder attachment for Christmas. The grinder is awesome. I have had stand alone grinders before that always jammed up. This one worked like a dream. The mixer is wonderful.
