I purchased this mixer about a month ago, the day after I broke a gear in my old KitchenAid mixer. My mixer never leaves my counter because I use it so frequently. I really like the tilt back head,much better, however, I do not think this new mixer's motor is as powerful as my old one. All told, I won't part with it.

I love my KitchenAid! My dough kneading skills were terrible before, but now it turns out every time! It's easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to go from one attachment to the next. It's nice and heavy so you don't have to worry about it tipping or sliding off the counter. The only thing I don't like is that the bowl isn't wide enough when adding more ingredients-even if you lift up the mixing head. There is a lid attachment to help with this issue, but even if I use that I get flour etc. everywhere (not to mention constantly being worried that I am going to break the attachment b/c it is plastic). I made a bread dough the other day that had over 8 cups of flour in it. I was worried that it couldn't knead that much dough at one time but it handled it with ease. Great product, you will not regret this purchase!

Cons: not enough room to add ingredients, plastic lid attachment
