I received my new mixer for my birthday. It is so smooth compared to my old mixer. I have made a few things and have been pleased with the performance. The bowl and mixer blades are easy to clean. My old beaters required a lot of cleaning to get all of the food off the beaters. I hope to use this mixer for the rest of my life. Thanks for a good product. Carol Barritt

The Kitchenaid can do the big jobs but also the small jobs. I had a Bosch before and it was great at making 4 loaves of bread but limited in many of the smaller jobs you might want to do. The various add-ons greatly enhance it also. I have the ice cream maker and appreciate not having to store another appliance. My husband appreciates the integrity of the motor - I'm just thankful it works and is dependable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this machine a few weeks ago and have made bread with it three times so far. I have also made a cake with it. I saved a lot of work and time not having to hand knead the bread. I purchased the empire red Artisan mixer and it looks beautiful in my kitchen. I just purchased the slicer/shredder attachment for the mixer, but I haven't received it yet. I will do a review on that after I try it out.
