I received a Kitchenaid mixture as a wedding gift, and it is wonderful, but I am disappointed as well because it is cheaply made in comparison to older models (the food splatter guard does NOT stay on, the attachments are sturdy, but almost too light) and to top it all off, this past week it died on me. I expected it to last forever, but apparently I was wrong.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Absolutely love it. As a matter of fact this is my second one, I have had my previous mixer for about 9 years. I gave my old one to a friend of mine and purchased a new one in a new color. I use this for all my baking needs. It is so easy to use. I have several attachments that I used with it, for example I shred my own cheese. It saves me money. I have a can opener that came in handy when I first moved into my house. I have a juicer, that can juice oranges or lemons for my favorite recipes. The next attachment I can't wait to get is the pasta set. This mixer is my favorite appliance in the kitchen.
