I enjoy baking and it is also a stress reliever for me. My new Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer is a cook's dream come true. I can multi-task and mix up a batch of cookie dough while cleaning up the kitchen since my hands are free. Just whipped up whipping cream for pie today and it takes the "waiting for stiff peaks to form" chore away; now it's a delight to watch the beater do its work. All cooks/bakers need this great "Kitchen Aid"!!

Powerful and large--great for bread and cookies

I bought this about six weeks ago as a replacement for my old Kitchen Aid--it is much more powerful and the bowl has a larger capacity than my last mixer. I have made bread and roll dough using the dough hook and found it to be perfect. The double recipe of dough was not a problem at all. My model is the silver gray color with matching cover--looks great on my kitchen counter.

Best Christmas Gift Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting this beautiful mixer for years. I have a 4.5 quart Kitchen Aid mixer that I absolutely love and have had for 30 years. There is nothing wrong with it, still works perfectly. There are certain items that I make that I need the larger capacity mixer for and I wanted the red one. My other one is white. Good thing my significant other pays attention when I sent him links to gift ideas for me.
