I have had my old Kitchen Aid mixer for 20 + years. Being older it was heavy and I am at the point that it is difficult to move around as it is too tall to sit on my counter. It still runs like a top and is absolutely dependable, but I needed to replace it. The Artisan Series mixer is perfect! It is a tad lighter and since it has a tilt head, not quite as tall and fits under my cabinets so I can leave it in place. SO HAPPY!!!

Very substantial mixer. Does not pull at all. Only issue is that the mixing bowl has a little crater in the bottom. Dry ingredients seem to accumulate there and don't mix in well. That's the only negative.

Got new one this last week and so far it is awesome. Bought 3 attachments, haven’t used yet, but excited about using them. Love Kitchenaid.
