My family offered to buy me a new mixer for my birthday and I immediately knew this was the one for me. I've made several batches of cookies already. It handles stiff dough with no trouble and the bowl is big enough to easily hold a double (or even triple) batch. I can't wait to try out the other attachments it came with. I even plan to order some of the extra accessories like the pasta maker because KitchenAid makes things so easy to do. I definitely recommend this mixer to anyone who wants a quality, sturdy mixer.
