I’ll be purchasing the ice cream maker attachment this month! Can’t wait to try it out! With a kitchenaid mixer, the possibilities are endless!! Love itttt!

Functional with a few issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a beautiful stand mixer and I am so happy to finally have one! The balloon whisk works well, and the dough hook does as well but even though I carefully adjust the height of the dough hook so it has plenty of clearance, it makes the locked mixer buck and ultimately throws the lock in the unlocked position such that I have to stand there and hold it down. Also, the adjustment screw is in a terrible place—why on earth put it where it is so hard to reach? Put it on the side of the mixer like other models.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was real apprehensive to use the mixer to prepare yeast dough, but I am pleased with the results that I am getting. I have always mixed the dough by hand because I knew when it is ready by the feel of the dough. The mixer does an excellant job of mixing and kneading the dough,which saves a lot of time.
