Bought for bedroom and it does a good job. Like the Eco mode and remote control. Noise level is perfect for me, drowns out outside noises nicely.

Great unit BUT only quiet at times.

I just bought this unit 2 days ago and its already starting to make noises like crackling. Very hard to describe the noise but i am almost considering returning for a new unit because i do love it besides the noise every few minutes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amanda1, thank you for sharing your room air conditioner experience with us. It is normal to hear ‘high pitch chatter’ a sound of rushing air, gurgle/hiss, pinging or swishing and vibration. These are all normal. For more information of normal sounds during operation, please refer to page 4 in your Owner’s Manual. Verify that the original installation procedures have been followed properly. Pay special attention to any gaskets. If improperly installed, even a high quality, low-noise unit can rattle mercilessly. Success with Frigidaire

The 6,000 BTU unit from Frigidaire was a great buy to replace my older, heavier AC unit. It worked well this summer and has resulted in significant decrease in my monthly electric bill. The only thing I don't like is the design of the air vents.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice little unit with one flaw

Bought a week or so ago. Does nice job of cooling bedroom. However I work nights and sleep during the day and this unit lets a lot of daylight shine through the front louvers.

Economical and good features

I bought 2 of them last summer to help cool the two bedrooms upstairs in the a-frame house. They just plug into 110 volt outlet and help cool the upstairs.

It's so hot and humid where we are & the landlord has not fixed our central air. So I bought this brand & BTU's on purpose and I'm so glad I did!
