Quit, lots of features, easy to install

Bought this to use in a spare room. It works excellent. The power saver mode is perfect. You can hardly hear the unit in the next room.

Great features and works great

We added on to our house and our central air could no longer keep up. We put this in the addition and it works so well it lowered our electricity bill

Frigidaire 6000 BTU window ac

The Good: cools good, the Bad: gets noisy, displays only set temp not current temp. When in econ/auto fan mode the fan comes on for about 15 seconds then turns off. The case is not flat, so putting it on a support is out of the question.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

MikeyG, we hear how frustrated you are with the air conditioner. Page 4 in the Owner’s Manual for your model addresses the normal operating sounds you will hear. When in economy mode the fan will continue to run for 1 minute after the compressor shuts off. The fan then cycles on for 20 seconds at 10 minute intervals until the room temperature is above the set temperature, at which time the compressor turns back on. I am forwarding your observation (that a support is not a viable option due to the case not being flat), to our design engineers. Easy to Install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation was done by my self in March 23,2020. Instead of use the installation thru the window,I selected to do thru the concrete wall that I prepared previously based on the outside dimension of the AC. The unit is very friendly to use.The only cons is that during the morning there are a lot of solar light entering thru the air vents. Also is a little noissy but is bearable.
