Been a Hot July here, thankfully my frigidaire window unit has made it bearable. Quiet reliable cooling and my electric bill hasn't soared. Very satisfied.

I have had this through the summer. So far, very pleased with the unit. Cools quickly. A little noiser than my previous model, but I can live with it. It is a great value for the money.

Very Noisy

Bought two 4 days ago. Installed one. Not sure I want to install the second one or return it. Makes too much noise. Cannot hear TV in same room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Earldelano, we can only imagine how frustrating this matter has been for you. It is normal to hear ‘high pitch chatter’ a sound of rushing air, gurgle/hiss, pinging or swishing and vibration. These are all normal. For more information of normal sounds during operation, please refer to page 4 in your Owner’s Manual. Verify that the original installation procedures have been followed properly. Pay special attention to any gaskets. Speedy to cool

We have two of these units and are very pleased with the speed with which they cool the room s(and frankly most of small upstairs floor). They are pretty quiet and the 3 speed fan options are great. I am not keen on the sleep function as makes the room too warm. Overall great unit
