Lightweight, Unencumbered, Easy to use, and a Great Design! Absolutely no boot up time and the fastest way to get online. Easy access to all of my files in Google Drive. Safe and secure with frequent updates that occur just about automatically! With my Chromebook 2 I stream movies, manage finances, video chat via Google Hangouts, Even brought it on vacation with me and connected to my rooms' TV with an HDMI cable to watch movies with the family. I absolutely LOVE my Chromebook 2!!
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight

Overall the best on the market except you need to support java
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: does not support java

I expected to be able to use the same programs as on my Samsung phone. None of my most used programs are listed on Google Play. I expected that the Chromebook would be somewhere between my Samsung Laptop and my Samsung Phone and its not. It doesn't measure up to the quality I expected. It is not meeting my expectations. I am considering returning it unless I can get the programs I want. It is useless for the use I wanted it for.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, cant use any of the google android app i like

Good but...

Chromebooks are overall pretty good computers. They're fast, (except for certain websites, but that just might be the server) sleek, and everything is stored online. (That's what attracted me to the product.) We used the Chromebook 11's in my school. I loved how easy it was to type up essays, do projects, and how fast the computer was! So, I asked for a Chromebook for my birthday, and I got the Chromebook 2. I specifically wanted a new laptop because my old one was very slow, and I wanted to edit my videos for youtube. Little did I know, basically NO editor supports Chrome OS. Google needs to fix this problem soon. However, they are taking baby steps because I hear that they are releasing Andriod apps onto the Chromebooks in the near future. (This year.) Another con is that the speakers are in the bottom of the computer, placed in a way that sometimes if I'm laying down with my laptop on my thighs, it'll muffle the sound a bit. The battery life also isn't as good as the Chromebook 11's. It also doesn't capture video, even though it has a webcam. Tip: If you get it in black, and yu get a scratch, put crayon over it, the wax will fill it in. :)
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Inexpensive, Lightweight, has docs free unlike microsoft word, is fast
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Not high def, no video capture, no video editor, battery life isn't as good as the chromebook 11's
