Brother service is the best, upgraded me to the J4620DW as replacement, and, I couldn't be more satisfied with the product!

It's a decent machine

We had bought the printer and have had it for several months now. For the most part it seemed to be working fine. Until the other day when we tried to print a photo on photo paper. The machine could not pull the paper up and kept giving an error message. Tried several things and didn't see any special place that you had switch something on the printer to allow photo paper. Unfortunately we decided to return the machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This all in one machine has made our work place an easier place! The ease of using it, along with the options of scanning and emailing directly from the machine has been a tool that we use everyday.

Good Printer for the price

Works great. Good print quality. This printer is not listed by Brother as photo quality, but when I printed some photos with it, although the quality was not quite up to par with actual photos, they are quite acceptable for most purposes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

slowest printer I ever owned

This is the slowest printer I have ever owned. It takes twenty minutes to make one 600x600dpi scan.

Acceptable Printer

Biggest fault I have is that paper tray is limited to pretty much plain paper. Oversize envelopes and card stock along with legal size paper must be fed one sheet at a time from rear of computer. NOT PRACTICAL.
