Great overall product, except squeaks everyday

This model looked to be perfect fit in our home office because it printed landscape and had many features like scan, wireless, ease of use. Brother customer service has been very helpful with the issues that have caused us to be on our third refurbished printer since November 2015. As we are hoping to find a solution to these issues with this Brother printer which continues to provide great service besides these minor issues (wireless connectivity and very loud 45 second squeak on warm up). We love having a Brother printer in the office. Thanks.

This MFC provides everything you'd like in a smaller form factor that eliminates cords by its access to the WiFi. I even print from my iPhone. It is a well priced great addition to my home office.

I am completely satisfied with this machine . It prints perfectly. I have tried most of its printing features and each time documents and color pictures are crisp and clear.

Great small business printer

I've been using Brother MFC printers for about 4 years, now. The MFC-J4620DW is my third one. I love that they have multi-sheet auto-feed scanners, and can do auto duplexing. They are fairly fast printing for as far as inkjets go, and are very easy to set up, either direct wi-fi connection, or via a network.
The only drawbacks I have run across are:
1. Ink cartridges are not the same across the models of these printers. Therefore, I cannot use the new cartridges I purchased for my previous printer with the new one. I always have to keep a spare set of cartridges for my work, and it is quite expensive to just have to donate, or even throw away the brand new cartridges I can't use anymore.
2. I work out of my truck, so the printer is with me wherever I go. The reason I'm on my third one is because the first two (MFC-J4410DW) would give me a paper jam error after awhile, and I was never able to clear it out. I never had any paper jam in the printer, but its sensors indicated otherwise.

Sorry, do not like this printer, which replaced an Epson. Paper tray hard to load and feels really cheap. Tray for paper output much too short. Sometimes it says there is a paper block when THERE IS NOT and the machine will not run. Recently had to completely reset the printer to get wireless to work, when it worked earlier. Won't take cardstock except one by one (?Christmas cards) and won't do second side for stock. Did not say this when we bought it. At times extremely noisy. Slow compared to previous printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
