Set up is easy, if power is lost re-boots with no resetting of features. Good value for the price I paid for it. Scans, copies, faxes and the best thing it is remote.

Excellent Printer

This is my third Brother ink jet printer, and it's the best one yet. Setup was easy for both my iMac computer, and my iPad. Using the included software, scanning is quick and easy. Making copies is also quick and easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The best multi function printer ever

I have been using this printer for six months and could not be more pleased. The print quality is excellent, the speed is great and the horizontal footprint is ideal. I use this printer for Color, Scanning, Copying and Fax. I have an existing Brother HL-5450DN laser printer that I use for Black and White super fast printing.
Both are top of the line and very frugal as far as ink or toner usage. I have owned other brands of printers, but have never experienced the complete satisfaction I get from either of these brother printers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as happy with this one!

This is my 2nd Brother printer. I loved the first one! It was the best printer I had ever bought. I thought I was purchasing a comparable one, however this one is loud and the pictures are not clear.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The product is flawless from setup to printing. Great quality build feel and excellent printing, scanning and copying functions. Wireless printing is phenomenal.

Dark to Daylight purchase

I like the action of the printer. I like the quality of the printer ink not only of the black but the color also. The amount of ink used so far has been about 30% less than my last printer. This review has the first low black ink notification signal as I write. Space the unit take is about the same space as the other printer. I like that everything opens to the front.
I have not purchased Brothers ink yet so can not comment on ink price.
To sum up I like the Brothers printer and it will not be the last.

Terrible purchase

2-sided copy worked once, haven't even used one ream of paper and totally out of ink, black ink replaced already once and it still keeps showing its out!
