Needs help

The print is not as dark or crisp. I have to take off duplex, even if one page. It will print date & time on back, even though it is blank.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to setup and use.

Has become my primary printer. Quick to process. Fun to watch it zip through a page, then pull the sheet back and print the other side.

I bought the Brother black-and-white printer because my previous printers were unreliable and I was tired of replacing expensive color ink when my kids were doing too much frivolous printing. It has been reliable and the tech support (when I switched internet providers twice) was terrific.
I would recommend this to a friend!

like doubling as scanner, able to scan to pdf. wifi printing, apple airprint features are good. original cartridge doesn't last long. pick up extra toner.
