Home Machine with Office Quality

I needed a quicker printing device, no color needed. I purchased this and so far am very happy with it. Its small for my home office but it prints like an office machine! Love that! The only issue I have with it is that the wifi is constantly dropping from the device (yet my phone (voip), computer (on wifi) and even smart tv all still operational? So I must turn off and turn on again before printing if I have lags between print jobs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unreliable

We bought this to replace an old Brother wireless which worked great for 4 years. We should have kept it but gave it to our son. This machine is a pain in the rear and constantly goes off-line or gives other error messages.
As others have stated, if you don't use it everyday it goes into sleep mode but will not wake up. You have to shut it off and re-start it. Even worse, when re-starting I occasionally need to reconnect to our internet...also a pain in the rear. Another problem is when you open the paper tray to refill paper the unit gets confused and prompts you for new paper size, then I get the error message "out of paper"
In short, I hate this thing and would not recommend it, nor will I buy another Brother printer in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great wireless printer

Great printer, works fine. Have no issue with wireless printing. Works fine on both Windows 10 and Mac OS Sierra.

Speed, clarity on documents, ease of use

I am very happy with my laser printer.I do not need color printing, so this is much better for me. I still have a little trouble with understanding the features, arrow buttons, but it hasn't prevented me from successfully printing.

V.Good Home Office Laser Printer

Find this B&W Laser Printer to be a very good machine for the price (on sale). Duplex capability is great feature as cost and tree saver. Couple of things happeneing preventing me from giving 5 stars: 1) occassional loss of network connectiviity requiring router to be reset and 2) occassional poor print quality without changing settings.

Good Printer; good price

This printer is an amazing value. I am using it for my small business and appreciate the quality of the print jobs.
The only problem I have experienced is in waking up the printer. I have spoken with technical support twice w/out resolution. When I send a print job, it won't wake up from a deep sleep. So, every time I start to print, I have to shut the printer down and restart it. Wish I could find a solution for that. Otherwise, I have been happy with its performance.
Also, I absolutely love the telephone support. It is unprecedented and makes Brother stand out.
