Pretty good

Prints well, altho a little faint. Does 2 sided very well. Sometimes goes into deep sleep and I have trouble getting it to print. Probably because I haven't taken the 50 hrs or whatever to read the manual IRT the incredibly complex operation of the digital screen and controls on the machine. I tend to want to do everything at my computer. Probably my failing, but it's a very common failing so many people must find it complex. I can usually get it to do the simple thing I need - to print what I tell it and when - after some hassle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Needed a printer

I needed a printer, laser preferred, and nothing fancy since I only print a few pages once in a while. Brother's brand was suggested from a friend, so I went online to check them out. I also checked out other Brands and decided this model (HL-L2360DW) was what I needed to do the job. Yes, it would have been nice to have one with more functions like the copier and scanner, but my space for the printer is limited in size.
So far I have been satisfied with the printing results.
However, I am not happy about getting all the extra advertisements about Brothers other printers, products, etc.. How do I stop these advertisements?

Not Great purchase

I purchased this printer during a sale. I was excited to have a printer that would work with my iPads and phones. I got the printer and connected it. Things were working okay to start. Since then the printer has not been able to hold a signal and will not connect to my iPads, phones, or my other computer. This is very frustrating as the printer stated that it would work with those devices. I have called into brother twice and the fix only lasted for 1 DAY! I am very frustrated that my printer will not work. I am at the point of returning the printer as it will not work! I am extremely disappointed in this printer!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wireless networking needs work

Have had very good experiences with wired versions of Brother products, and when the time came to upgrade the printer in my home I thought to go wireless. The initial setup seemed easy enough, but then the network connection would drop every few hours. Searched for a firmware update, which is available, but requires 3rd party tools I've never heard of to implement. Not at all a user friendly process for a home user. Seems like an engineering solution, not a user solution. After an hour on the chat line, I did get the help needed to prevent connection drops, but still can't update my firmware. Still happy with the printer. Just hope nothing further goes wrong with the wireless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the double sided printing ability

The printer has done everything we needed it to well. It was reasonably easy to set up to our laptop. Printing quality is good for a laser printer. Double sided printing is a nice feature. Envelop printing works well as does the copy and scan function.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great inexpensive laser printer

This printer just prints black, but it was inexpensive and runs well. Toner is also inexpensive compared to many laser printers.

I'm a professional writer and what I needed was a simple to operate printer that delivers sharp, clean copy at a relatively rapid rate. I can't imagine a better machine than this one in its price range.

This is my 1st Laser printer. I am very pleased with the performance, and set up was simple. It has not jammed....so far. The print is good for my needs. I just needed a printer for occasional printing, ie, coupons, copies and a few thing off the computer. It works well with my iPad
