Best option for home office

I have been using this printer by two months and I am satisfied. However, don't use it to print b/w pictures documents (it wastes a lot of ink). I printed around 10 jpg. docs using the original toner and then I had to purchased the new one (which is expensive).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing

Let me tell you that I have a history with Brother printers. For around 10 years or so I used a Brother Laser printer (sorry, I do not recall the model) and printed thousands of pages. The the drum died and I decided to purchase another printer. This leads up to the HL-L2360DW. I returned it to the store I purchased it from in less then two weeks. I was unable to make the wireless connection from the printer to may iMac. I read instructions provided. Visited Brother online support. Spoke with a tech representative, as well as using the online help for my particular model. Visited with dealer tech support. I was unable to make the wireless connection work. Later visited with a local Apple Certified Tech. He suggested based on his experience that the new Brother was unable to connect to the older (iMac mid 2007 model purchased in early 2008) because of changes and standardization of newer wireless protocol and and older machine. Said they had experienced that problem, but could in no one verify that was what I was experiencing. And as a personal note, please separate your Apple Mac directions from within in your PC directions for set. All the back an forth jumping around and sub notes is way too confusing!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

scanner does not work

I have contacted Brother at least 3-4 times during the last month. They are able to get my printer to scan but when I turn the printer off everything goes away and I am no longer able to print.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When it prints, it prints just fine...... but then

My single complaint with the printer is in the wireless software used. For reasons I have not been able to resolve, the printer will show as being "Offline", and the only way to get back "On Line" is to reboot the (PC) computer and the printer. Also, if the printer should run out of paper mid-job, and you send another printer job to the printer, it will lock itself up and report back to the computer it is out of paper. The only way I have been able to resolve this is to go deep into the settings, physically delete any pending files and start over. There should be a better process available for how the printer talks to the computer.

Great little printer

I absolutely love this little printer. It provides quality prints and is easy on the toner. Fits anywhere due to its size and is lightweight so can easily be moved. Great printer for a great price.
