Simple and effective

I bought this machine because of Brother's good reputation in printers. I wanted a simple black and white, since over 90% of the pages I print are in B&W. So far, the machine is preforming flawlessly. I can't ask for better than that. Time will tell regarding its longevity, but I am hopeful that because of it being B&W, that there are less things that can go wrong, as in color printers. I also like the fact that it is a printer only. Again, simple and effective.

Less than happy

I had to replace my 2700 and am less than pleased with this new model. It's slow to print and wifi is much slower. Also the cartridges are much smaller and so need to replaced often. Disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It takes a long time for it to wake up. I try to wake it up, and it prints three pages of settings. Other than that, it prints great.

Exactly what we wanted. Only drawback was finding the correct setting to enable AirPrint. Be patient......all a matter of getting it to communicate with other devices.

Owned for 6 months now. Works with my Windows 10 devices, MacBook, iPad and iPhone. I like the handles on the side for convenience of relocating to different locations. Duplexing is great with no problems or paper jams. Customer support was great. Resolved my issue which was missing characters when printing from Chrome browser. Also resolved my issue of printer not waking up from sleep mode when using Apple devices. Everything was an easy fix. Very happy with this printer.
