This purchase was for my office at work. (I personally own a similar model and have been very pleased with it.) I wanted something that was Wi-Fi compatible, would allow for duplex printing, had a toner cartridge that was readily available (at our local national chain discount store), and at a reasonable cost, as I had been given a small budget to work with. This model also prints multiple thumbnails per page, which is a nice feature when you need it. This is a great small office printer, but it is a little noisy when printing.
When it first arrived, I had a little trouble getting it installed, as it didn't come with a printer cable, but our network administrator was finally able to get it up and going for me. I've had it almost four months now, and I have had no problems with it until about two weeks ago when the Wi-Fi capability unexpectedly went out. I had to wait almost a week for our network admin to get here to check out the problem, and he was unable to find out why the Wi-Fi was no longer working. He finally had to get a printer cable to connect it to the Ethernet, so it is finally back up and going again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The good: clear crisp copies, relatively fast
The bad: to much power draw on startup, replacement cartridges to expensive

Very reasonably priced for a laser printer and easy to operate. Pages print quickly and no jamming! Love the 'toner saving' mode!

Great printer

This product was easy to load up on the computer. After years of using ink jet printers and having to go buy more ink because it dried out, this printer is a God send. We don't print much but when we need to its ready to go.
