Looses its WIFI signal way too frequently

The printer works well but continually looses its WIFI and I have to take it back to the router and configure it wired, then I put it back and it works for a week or so and then looses its configuration again. I am only 50 feet from a strong router so the wireless card in the printer is way too weak or I got a lemon

Wireless disconnects

I've had my printer a couple of months now. When the printer works, and not offline because it's disconnected from my Wifi that I set-up, it produces great copies. The few times I left e-mails concerning the Wifi disconnection, I'm told it shouldn't happen. Brother should try to connect verbally to the customers as communicating via on-line is not the most productive method. Please provide a phone number for customers to work around these issues. "Verbal" communication is by far the best tool for communication. Regards

Worst printer ever!

This printer is constantly "not found" by my computer. I cannot print in 5G so I have to switch to a slower network to print. I thought this was going to be a quick replacement for a previous Brother workhorse of a printer that's been discontinue but no such luck. I'll be calling customer service again when they open on Monday.

Cannot turn off sleep mode

When in sleep mode, the printer does not wake up when data is sent over wifi. No option to turn sleep mode off.

Disappointing

This printer proves that you get what you pay for. It was inexpensive. The image quality is mediocre. Wi-Fi connection speeds are slow. The most frustrating problem is the printer goes into deep sleep mode and will not respond to print requests unless I turn it completely off and then restart it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Brother printer

The printer is great. HOWEVER, it often goes "offline" and the only way to fix this is to uninstall and reinstall the printer and/or reinstall wifi connections. I have to do this on average 1-2 times a month or sit and wait sometimes for days for something to print.

Hmmm! Not bad printing... one irritating problem

I like the printing, and I like the ability to use "everyday" printing density. HOWEVER, a real deal killer for me is: this machine CANNOT PRINT ENVELOPES WITHOUT OPENING THE BACK AND THE FRONT AND MANUALLY FEED ONE ENVELOPE AT A TIME! Say what! All the info said it would print envelopes, none of it said you had to physically go to the printer and twist its arm to do so. The negative comments about staying connected to your wifi are not necessarily printer problems, but having to load one envelope through the front feeder, and to retrieve the printed envelope through the manually opened, then manually closed back door: pure genius! At least let people know. If envelopes are never or rarely printed at your use, this is one great printer. If you print even just 2-3 envelopes a month, you will be buying a label printer!
I would recommend this to a friend!
