NOT WIRELESS

Can't use wireless function ever. This printer is always in "DEEP SLEEP" mode, and you CAN'T DISABLE SLEEP. My wife and I are always plugging into this, our brand-new printer, to print grainy images. Forget the modern mobile world of technology... We need to send all documents from our phones to our laptops, then print.
"PRINTERS LAST only 2-3 YEARS" said a Staples employee!! Not worth buying one?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Printer Except For A Flaw

The first laser printer we've owned after limiting ourselves to ink-jet in the past. We are so glad we purchased this because it does what we envisioned it for in a more efficient and effective manner. Setting this up the first time is pretty easy and straight-forward; just follow the instructions that came with it. It also helps to get additional resources online to back up the included instructions.
The best feature of this printer is its wireless capability. We were blown away the first time we tried to print, and it's not hooked-up via cable to our computer! Same thing with scanning a document: It saves to its assigned device once you're done scanning.
We also researched the long-term cost of replacing the ink-toner and/or the drum. It turns out it's going to be cheaper in the long run compared to the ink jet cartridges that are not cheap in the first place and were only good for a couple hundred pages (if one is stingy with printing).
The big downside that we attach to this particular model is its manual feed tray. The paper support is very short so it's a struggle trying to align the paper properly so that the printout wouldn't be crooked. Most of the time it's not aligned so it's frustrating having to pop out the paper tray and use it instead.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Always disconnects from wifi

Best printer purchase I have made.....

This replaces an older color printer. Upgrading to this printer was a good decision. The wireless printing option is very convenient and was easy to setup. Having the printer enter "sleep/offline" mode, and automatically power up when needed is convenient. Geat printer for your money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent printer... except

I have been using the printer for a couple of months and have found it has excellent print quality and is the wireless printer I use with several computers. It just has one frustrating flaw.... it loses it's way to wireless. That is to say it will stop printing by delivering a message..."cannot find printer". I then go thru a process of shutting down, opening up, rebooting until I get use of the printer again. Frustrating. Time consuming.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
