What a disappointment

All-in-one works fine but that little scam they run on the toners is too much. I bought a new toner and it fell on the floor and when I tried to put it in it never would recognize that there was a new toner. Then I read that unless it is a brand new toner the printer will not recognize it. WELL some toner had spilled out when it fell. NOW I AM OUT the price of an entire toner. AND you can never put in a partially used toner. I had always had HP and I am going back to HP.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Printer/Good Value

I have about 500 pages through it right now. Never had a problem with the printing or quality of the print. We have four computers hooked up using the wireless connection and everything worked out very good. Very fast and easy connection. If I was in the market to buy another printer, I would buy again.

Excellent build quality and the easiest to set up, did not need to connect to IMAC via USB for installation.
Air print works perfectly with iPhone and iPad.

Easy set-up. Works great, when awake!

This is my second Brother mono laser printer. This one is even easier to set up than the last one. It functions perfectly and has many needed features; wifi capable, easy choose dual sided printing, and is very reliable. I use it with both a Windows laptop and iMac desktop. The only problem I have run into, that I haven't been able to find a solution, is that it will not wake from 'deep sleep' for the iMac. I have to turn off the printer and turn it back on to get the first print job after deep sleep. Still working on finding a solution for that. I'm sure there is one out there somewhere. Otherwise, GREAT PRINTER!

I've had many home printers in my years, usually the inkjet type, and most of them have been pretty horrible, pretty quickly. I decided to splurge a little this time and get the Brother laser printer (not even that much of a splurge really), and I'm so happy I did. This thing is great in every way. Not only does it print super fast, but just the whole process from the moment I hit print to having the printout is super fast - it doesn't take 5 minutes for the thing to warm up and all that. Scanning is also very fast and user friendly. Even though it only prints in B&W, you can scan in color, and it pulls it right up in pdf format when you're done. Couldn't have hoped for a better printer!
