What I wanted

Wanted a good laser printer that was easy to set up and use, as I am not an expert on computers. I got this set up and running right out of the box with no problem. Have just used this for printing so far and am satisfied with that. Haven't gotten into the other features as yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It works, but ...

The printer works well. But I had some problem installing the driver software. I have to install the driver twice, as the first time installing it does not work. When I installed it the 2nd time, the old driver cannot be deleted, and the 2nd time installed driver has a (1) behind it. That is the one that works and itcan be frustrating to select the copy (1) instead of the 1st time copy to print. The print quality is acceptable.

Good Laser printer

I have only used this product for a short time.
For the price, this is a good quality printer, scanner and copier.
The scan feature is great for documents or pictures.
The printer is wireless which is another great feature.
I would recommend this printer to others.

No so good with wireless connections

Overall, this seems to be a good printer however I finally had to connect it directly to my network. For some reason when using it wirelessly it would quite often not recognize my network when it was powered up. At other times it would. Since connecting it directly through the ethernet to my network there is no problem. I bought it specifically so I could use it in my network because we use iPads a lot and need to print from them
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this printer!

I've been an HP printer buyer for many years and just got tired of expensive cartridges that don't last, so I did some research and decided to try this printer. This printer is wonderful! I kept the old printer, just in case I needed to print something in color and haven't used it since I got the new one. The new printer is fast, produces perfect documents and it hasn't run out of ink!!!! Yay! The duplex feature is really handy. I HIGHLY recommend this printer for home use.

compact laser printer with wireless networking

I truly enjoy using this printer as it prints two sides. I have saved so much paper. It is easy to use and very easy to set up. I had to have some help with a former printer. This one was a breeze!!!
I love the fact that it uses a drum instead of ink cartridges. I print a lot and this type saves money and time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The printer performs adequately for my needs. One problem is the electrical drain when the printer turns on and when it starts to print. I have a AP Surge Protector and it emits beeps when using the printer indicating an excessive power surge. Also have to increase the density of the print each time as the regular setting results in a light printed copy.
I would recommend this to a friend!
