Great Printer

This printer was very easy to setup and the print quality is excellent. If you just need an excellent quality black and white document and grey shade printer -- this is one is hard to beat.

Issues

It's a great printer if it would stay online! If not used for one day, the next print job will not print. Even though all other devices in the office are working on the network, this one "cannot be found". It requires a reboot which is bothersome.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A very serviceable machine

I bought this machine for exactly what it does. Produces good printed material from my desktop, iPad, iPhone, laptop and anything else that happens to be on my in home wireless network.
We don't print much, so we needed something that would be reliable and this also is just that.
I would recommend this machine for anyone in need of a simple printer that functions exactly as you would like it to. Set up was fairly easy, though I found using the wireless set up much easier than the hard wired version.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My wife and I had used our last printer for six years, and it was showing signs of aging, so we decided to replace it. The reports I had read about the Brother printers seemed indicate that they would be just what I was after, so that is what I bought. I really wanted a small laser quality printer, but I thought the wireless and duplex capabilities might prove to be very convenient. Well, the wireless capability meant that neither of us needed to take out computers and physically connect them to the printer. They could just sit where they were and print for us. Also, the duplex feature beats the heck out of first printing odd numbered pages, then turning the papers around and printing even numbered pages. The printer is just great, and the price was very reasonable. The only thing I would change if I were doing it again, is to get one with a built-in scanner. I'd recommend this printer to anyone who (like myself) is happy with nice crisp black and white, and has a lot of double sided prints to make. This one is especially convenient if it has to be shared with others.

Wifi failure after a few minutes

The wifi only holds connection for a minute or so. Power cycling the device gives it another few minutes.

Brother Laser

We use Brother Laser printers in our business. Very reliable. Bought the HL-L2380DW for home use and to take the load off of my high-end color printer. Works great. No issues. Would recommend.
