Nice looking printer, but.....

The printer is nice looking and prints fast for black colored. Down falls are the scanner option keeps having problems locating my computer when it's a direct hook up with the usb port! I have uninstalled and reinstalled this printer several times, will work for a little bit then can not locate my computer! THis is very frustrating and I want my money back! Sneaky printer started acting up after the 30 day return policy

Good but no feeder

This printer is good because it has a copier-- and is much faster than my 4 in i. Scanner has many steps and can be frustrating. My main problem with this printer is that it does not have a feeder so you can only copy or scan one page at a time

Lazer Printer OK

Overall happy with this printer but am very disappointed with the wireless feature. It is ok for quick printing but when U leave it for more than a minute or two it will not print goes "offline and have to shut it down and start over again to get it to print wireless

Started out fine - then trouble

The printer worked well at the outset. I did find the initial set-up to be difficult when it came to setting up the WiFi, but was able to work through it.
After the first month, something strange happened. The printer went into a "deep sleep". I am not making it up, it showed in the LCD display. I rebooted, attempted to go into settings, etc with no success.
Then I researched and found that there was a firmware upgrade required. I ran the upgrade, but it still went into a deep sleep quickly. When this happens, you can't print - period.
Ended up returning it and replacing with a different model/brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So-So printer

This is a serviceable printer, but the quality of the print is not up to the HP standard, in my opinion. It is not the crisp, black print I was used to with my old LaserJet. I didn't pay much for this printer, but I wish I'd not been swayed by price, and stayed with a manufacturer that has always satisfied me. This Brother prints like it's on an economy setting, but I can't find any option for changing it.

Oh Brrother Printer

Brother HL to replace HP All IN One. Very difficult to install, every time I try to print I get error message saying off line but it still prints. Have tried everything to correct the situation. Can not get it to scan period. Do not have time to call tech services so it is pretty non functional at moment until I have a day to fool around and call techies. Print quality is fine, wanted to replace ink cartridges as I am not a heavy duty printer person so cartridges dried up quickly. Laser seemed to be a better option but set up is a nightmare for a non tech user. I don't know what drivers are!!

questionable toner use

I have yet to figure out how to force the toner reset to work so that toner will be used until clearly at minimum. Printing dark clear pages when toner says its out. Shaking cartridge helped for a bit. My brother 2270 I can push button 7x to force continued use. I haven't found the magical combo for this machine so forced to purchase toner too soon.
