A printer I never wanted but love

Originally I purchased the smaller brother of this printer to replace an ink jet printer whose ink would dry faster than we could use it. Laser printers are so much better than ink. Only after a few months of very satisfied use did my wife tell me she needed a copier. So when you sent me the add about the HL-L2380DW did I see a solution. I'm taking the original back to PA for the summer, so it was a win win solution, and by the way being able to copy on both sides is a paper savings that I also love. Love this printer! *S*

Great purchase at a great price. Prints fast and clean. Small footprint fits on top of dresser. Love the wireless feature. Can print from anywhere in the house.

Excellent economy printer

I bought this printer for bookbinding projects; the double-sided printing ability saves a lot of time, and it's far more economical than inkjet printing. The first print job does take a few moments to start, but then it goes really fast.
One funny thing is that it sounds like a tiny jet airplane, ready for takeoff. And then, it zooms.
I would recommend this to a friend!

HL-L2380dw a good buy with lots of features...

I wouldn't really call this report a review as much as to say it is my opinion that this is a very good printer. I have an HL-2270dw which has been an excellent printer as well and have gotten the same level of good service with the All-in-One. I don't use all the features, but especially enjoy the automatic two-sided printing.
The only negative I can say is that the PaperPort Image software that can with it is a bust. Installed fine but now it messages me just about every day that an update is available....but when I tell it to go ahead nothing happens. I sure wich someone would fix that.

I've waited for my last printer to finally go belly-up so I could get a laser jet printer. When it finally did I shopped around and found this little beauty. The price was right, the cost per print excellent and delivery was fast.
I can highly recommend this printer. I use it for my small business out of my home and it's wonderful. Fast, quiet, affordable printing with the added benefit of the wireless connection so it can be placed anywhere that I want it to sit.
If you have a small business you'll love this machine.

Issues with MAC

I had a lot of trouble getting the HL-L2380DW to scan to my iMac. I called support and they walked me though the steps and got it working...for awhile. The next day, same issues. This was in February. I left for a few weeks and when I got back, a NEW driver was available. After I loaded the new driver it works much better. I still wish it was a bit more seamless but it does work. The printer itself is awesome. Great copies, fast and reliable.
