costs too much too operate. uses way too much ink. starter cartridge was claimed to produce 700 copies. i got less than 100 copies printing text pages below there should be maybe choice, even tho i check no

oversold, underperforming product

This multifunction machine is intermittent, at best. Sometimes it works seamlessly, sometimes NOT. Mostly NOT.
Can take a week to ten days to print a document, and then it's multiple copies, each with a different section of entire document. ie, not one of the multiple copies is complete. Obviously this is unpredictable, and very wasteful.
I've switched it from default printer to only a copier and scanner. Fortunately, I retained the earlier printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was informed the initial cartridge would only print 500 sheets of paper. Then I was informed that a full cartridge would only do 2,500 sheets of paper, (i.e. half a box of paper) and that a cartridge would cost about $60-$80 dollars. meaning a full box of paper would cost over $120 dollars in ink powder per box of paper. My old machine, (working just fine) one cartridge would print 4 boxes of paper for $45.00. It is clear the ink companies are going to make over 10X's what was done in the past. The cost of printing just went skyward. Kodak went bankrupt, Lexmark does not exist, HP is no longer supporting their Laserjet 5, and Microsoft is supporting all of this by destroying my drivers, and re-booting at 3am. It did not matter that I purchased the equipment and ink for all these years. The elitists are in control of my destiny.

This is my first laserjet purchase and I really am impressed. Its fast, works great as well including printing on envelopes.

Really cool wireless set up

Three of our teenage grandchildren reside with us. This has resulted in numerous electronic devices in the home. I-Pads, I-pods, smart phones, smart TV and Pc and laptops just to name a few. It only took minutes to have all of the devices recognized by the printer and successfully print test sheets.
Previously we always have had ink jet printers. The clarity of the laser printer is far better, no shadows are present. It is also a lot faster. Everyone is thrilled with the printer. Thank you for an excelled product.

Got this for new office room at home, set up quick and easy and love the wireless connection as there is one less set of cords running around my desk! Like the quick printing speed (due to no fax) and still can copy and scan ☺

What can I say. It works. Had constant problems with another Bluetooth. So far so good with this one. I have iMac , iPad and iPhone.

Almost perfect

This is a great little unit ... compact, well made, fast, WIFI included, flush paper tray. It's a bit noisy when printing, but that's not a major issue.
The only weak point is graphics printing. The banding is very noticeable. However, for the low price, it's one fine text printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
