The product was well packed. Unpacking and installation instructions were clear and specific. The software installed without problems and the printer was up and running within 15 minutes, or less. I connected it USB initially, then configured it to be wireless to eliminate the USB cable and free up the PC USB port. Wireless installation was also a breeze. Now my wife has a laser printer AND a scanner/copier upstairs by her computer. Printer response time is fast and prints/scans/copies are of high quality, including higher resolution graphics. For a laser printer that also provides scanning and copying I consider it an excellent value. Highly recommended.

Excellent printer

I am a small business that does a large quantity of printing. I bought a used copier and used that for a while. When it died I bought this printer as a replacement. I prints very clear and extremely fast. Half of my printing is 2 sided. The set up was very fast. I did not connect it wirelessly. I didn't need to.
I am very happy with this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great home office laser printer

I had used a somewhat cheap laser printer from another well known brand, a laser printer that was also wi-fi. That brand had too many software for me to download, and I couldn't tell from the buttons on the laser printer how to work it unless I refer back to the manual, which was annoying. This Brother laser printer is just like my previous-previous laser printer which I kind of regret getting rid of in order to upgrade to a wi-fi laser printer; it works easily, there's only basically only one software to install, and it's easy to understand the buttons. Great for home office use.

Good printer but has issues

Printing, scanning, and copying quality and speed are as expected. Printer connected to WLAN, firmware updated and now will not connect. It is noisy.
It is irritating that it is cheaper to buy a whole new printer than to replace a drum unit and printer cartridge and have to go through days of trying to get the new printer set up to WLAN and mobile access.

Love this printer

This is by far the best printer I have owned. Love that you can print from iPad android phone and a laptop.
