I constantly have to reboot it, it goes in a deep sleep and never works.

I have continued problems printing. I install printer and then it works for about a month. Then it needs to be reinstalled because I only get printing error messages on the wireless connection.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally a nice laser-jet printer at an affordable price for a home user! I love this one! I didn't know what to expect at this great price but I find it comparable to the laser-jet printers I had at work. I was so tired of ink-jet printers because I didn't use them enough to keep the ink from going dry all the time. Now that is not a worry at all. Plus this prints at least 10 or 20 times faster than my old ink-jet. Everything is so easy too - easy to set up, easy to use, much easier than the ink-jets I have had. This printer even has a scanner and although I haven't used it yet its overall quality convinces me that it will do much better in scanning than my old ink-jets too. This is my first Brother but not my last.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent value for the money

Lots of features for little money....fairly easy set up so far and very reasonable optional brand ink cartridges. Have not tried the mobile device link up yet, but do not expect it to be a problem. I'd say an excellent buy.

After One Week

So far so good. It is quieter than our previous HP laser printer. Print quality is very good. We will see how it holds up over time and how long the ink lasts (number of pages printed).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great printer

This is a great printer. The only thing I noticed was that when I first installed it, the wireless worked fine. After a month, it stopped working and I had to plug it in to the computer.
It also is a little tricky to set up. But now that I've forgotten that it no longer is wireless and the difficulty in setup, I love it

Like the size since it fits the space available. Very disappointed that it can't maintain the wireless connection with my computer. I keep having to call Brother to have them guide me thro process to reconnect and each time it was different.
