Seems to work good

The Brother printer seems to work OK and is good on ink. I am having trouble when the printer is on stand by it is almost impossible to start up. I spend a lot of time trying to get it to print when on stand by there should be a button to start up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good workhorse printer

Generally speaking, this printer accomplished all of my needs in the home office - wireless set-up, good print copy, fast.
Set-up was a bit tricky - changing settings that made printer go into deep sleep in 3 minutes (can't print remotely, have to restart) involved a call to product support - this should not be necessary.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am happy with my new laser jet printer. I was tired of spending an arm and a leg on my ink cartridges for my old HP. This prints very quickly. The Brother representative helped me set it up.

Love My Brother Laserjet Printer!

I have three Brother's Printers and this is definitely my favorite. Primarily, this Printer is 1) a LaserJet printer; 2) automatic double-sided printing feature.
Does not get any better...I do extensive research which requires lots of printing-this printer saves me money on paper. Definitely a must for anyone who likes the automatic vs manual duplex printing.

wireless network card goes out

Unfortunately. like the last brother wireless printer I had, this one's wireless connection stopped working. This time it happened quickly, last time it took a couple of years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When the printer prints, it is beautiful. However, I can't get it to wake up from deep sleep with the touch of a button. Everytime I want to print something, I have to unplug it and plug it back it. Then it works great. I am using a wifi connection with a Mac Pro. And I have followed Brother's suggestions to fix the problem with no positive result.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this because of the relatively low price. It works well, except sometimes I have connectivity issues with the WiFi feature. Not sure if it is the printer or a networking issue.
It is fast and has nice print quality. I got it because of the copy feature. I had a separate scanner, which was a nuisance when I wanted to make copies. I would have preferred a unit with a document feeder and 2 sided copying, but they cost 2X as much, so I got this one, which I like overall.
