This is our first home laser printer. Got tired of expensive ink for ink jets. Set up was pretty easy. Had to download driver for my iMac. After that all functions worked well. I don't know if I will miss color printing. Time will tell. Printing is quick and quality is good. Scan works well too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very satisfied with my new brother printer. It has more options than I was originally looking for, yet I will end up using them all. I went with a monochrome laser because I never bought colored ink for my last printer. I expect much better ink use with this laser printer over inkjet. The touch screen is also a nice feature. I almost didn't get the model with this, but glad I did. I also chose this printer because I can use it with my chromebook. This was a huge benefit. With the brother app downloaded to my android smart phone I am able to scan documents and then save them to my drive in chrome. This is an absolute must if you are a chromebook user. Overall, a great thought out and engineered product. Very happy with my choice and highly reccomend it.

Fair But Not Great

Reproduction of pictures or anything with a lot of one color prints with lines in the solid color. Runs out of ink fast. Print quality is only so so.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gets the Job Done Quietly and Efficiency

Overall, this wireless printer works very well. To me, it seems that the print is clearer and bolder than on my previous two Brother laser printers. I also like that this sports duplex printing, which I have used a few times. I have been using Brother laser printers for about 10 years because of the small footprint, value, and ease of use. I probably won't change.

Good buy

Easy to set up, fast printing, great print out. Does everything you would want a small printer to do and does it very well. Only problem is I have it setup on my network using WiFi and it sometimes loses its connection to the network.
I would recommend this to a friend!
