I've used the HL-L2360DW printer for a couple of months, now. It's a good, fast printer. However, there are a couple of things a future purchaser should be aware of.
1. The printer pulls some kind of power when it starts to print. The printer is in the same room as my PC, so it is on the same circuit as my PC although it's plugged into a separate outlet. Nevertheless, when the printer starts to print my battery backup for my PC will come on, albeit very briefly. So the printer does pull some amps.
2. If the printer is connected via your wireless network and you decide to turn it off to save on ghost usage of electricity, when you turn it back on to print something, there's a whole process you've got to go through to reconnect to the wireless network. Thus, it's better to just let it go into its deep sleep and not worry about ghost electricity usage.

Excellent monochrome laser, easy setup and foolproof instructions, software is full-featured and installation is very easy. The scanner is one of the best I've used short of the large-format Brother scanner. Toner cartridges are very inexpensive, far superior cost value compared to bubby-jet printers if you don't need color.

Great printer. Easy to configure. Wireless printing is a breeze. Have used it to print on specialty paper without issue. Duplexing works like a charm. Would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a versatile printer.

Feed up with ink costs

Great printer/scanner! Does everything I need for home use. Very economical with toner. Setup was easy once you download the drivers. TIP - forget about wireless and just buy yourself a printer cable. Wireless worked OK for about a week... then quit! Worked for hours trying to get it to work, tried online help, then finally called and waited for assistance. Bottom line - almost anything you do to make your computer secure upsets the wireless connection. Bought a printer cable now everything is fine. This is not just a problem I've had with Brother equipment the same thing happened to my Kodak inkjet printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
