My Brother laser B&W all-in-one is perfect! Operation and options are simply done, it is fast and quiet and the price is unbeatable. This is a value purchase, and I just love my Brother!

This prints quickly and with good quality. The drawback is that if one leaves the printer on it will not print or scan after and hour or so until you turn it off and then restart it. The print information that comes with the printer is not good about explaining this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you are looking for a quality printer with exceptional functionality, this would be a tremendous choice.
Most Brother printers have great "staying power." and this one is at the top of the performance scale. I love the printer.

best laser printer for the money

I did a lot of research and asked friends what printer they used and how well they liked them. Owner's of Brother printers were consistently the most satisfied. Although the HL L 2380DW was relatively new and no one I knew had one, all reviews of the other Brother 2300 series printers were good so I bought the HL L 2380DW. I am completely satisfied with my HL L 2380DW and would recommend Brother products and the HL L 2380DW printer in particular.
I would recommend this to a friend!

** Setup was pretty easy. But unless you have done this before I got the feeling that I was following prompts -- rather than understanding WHY I was doing the action.
** Quality of print etc is what I expect from Brother - usually excellent.

Why the four stars rather than five? Mostly for convenience.
** When I ordered I suspected that I would miss the document feeder. I was correct. I often have a number of pages to fax or to scan. Going page-by-page gets to be a real bore.
** The faxing for my old brother MFC-7360N was also more intuitive since faxing used a bigger keypad, etc.
** One other nit. This is sold as a multifunction machine. But as I recall it is NOT listed as a multifunction machine when looking for manuals, etc on the website. Might have at least given a heads-up that you will find the support under xxxxxx.

Great printer

Easy installation and setup as well as overall ease of operation except for the need to open the back and pull down two levers to print envelopes. Two sided printing is a breeze. Print speed and quality is excellent.
