Good Printer

I like the HL-L2360DW printer. The print quality and speed is just right for my home office. The only complaint I have is the LCD screen. It is hard to almost impossible to see in low light. The screen should be backlit w/ at least 2-3 lines of status information. Next time don't be so cheap.

Good Printer

Excellent price, fast, simple to set up, quiet. BIG! Weird software. Aftermarket toner cartridges are 1/4 the price and work fine. We bought this so my wife could print her university notes at a more reasonable price. It works great for that purpose. Not sure it prints cleanly enough for business use. Yeah, I'd buy it again and recommend it to my friends, too.

Mac Users Beware

First of all, this seems like a great printer.
BUT, if you are a Mac user you need to be prepared for hours of frustration and almost a ream of wasted paper.
The interface between the Brother printer and a Mac computer is problematic. There is a solution, but it took me going through about 10 Mac techs and countless wasted hours and more than a month of a down printer to resolve the issue. It was really the luck of the draw that allowed me to finally reach a tech who knew what to do. The solution of assigning a permanent IP address to the printer from the router and then going into the Mac computer and assigning the computer to this address via typing the address into the Internet search field needs to be taught to all Brother/Mac techs.

A lot of quirks. From reading toner amount to having to unplug when paper runs out. Would never recommend. Customer service is outsourced and takes 20 min. minimum for each phone call to be answered.

Really good product

This is a really good printer. Very fast printing in black and white. Also a good scanner. The wireless feature is also nice with no need for awkward/bulky wires The only two issues that I have (which have nothing to do with the printer itself) are: (1) should have bought it with an ADF so that I could scan faster; and (2) would love to have a second paper tray for legal paper.

Wish it had a tray

Great printer! Only draw back is there is not a tray to catch the paper after printing. If it gets full papers fall on the floor.
