This is a good printer is you have the patience for the set-up phase. It took a couple of hours including reading the setup instructions and waiting, then talking to someone in customer service to help...twice. It should not be this complicated! The printing is good, but I wish it had the feature of front and back printing. And it's odd how the printed documents are barely seen, as if still part of the machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer is working just fine. Note: When I set it up, the printing was very light and therefore hard to read. A computer technician adjusted the darkness of the type and now it is fine. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will stay that way.

Liked my old HP printer better

This printer was less expensive than the comparable HP and works fine. The features I miss are warnings that ink is low, paper is out and having the ability to switch from legal to letter without opening the tray and expanding it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

for our needs, this laser printer does all we expect a printer to do. The savings in time and money of not dealing with replacement ink cartridges is a relief. Great printing results as well.

Good Versatile Laser Printer with Wireless Network

All is well, so far.
Does a great job.
Keep up the good work It is satisfying to be able to purchase as good quality product with all of the world seeming to cheapen all products to the point that if they lower their quality standards any lower, it will be totally counter productive and not worth purchasing.

I would recommend this printer to anyone wanting to print quality black & white documents economically.
Set up was an impossible nightmare until I called Brother Customer Service who easlily walked me thru it and got the wireless connetion established, now we can print from several computers as well as a smart phone from anywhere within range.
To say it plainly: WE LOVE IT!
I would give it 5 stars if it had an easier set up & bigger screen, but these features hardly matter once set up, customer service made up for these drawbacks in my particular case.
