Excellent Purchase

I got this to replace an older Brother 2040 for wireless and duplex feature.
I use it both on Linux and Windows (dual boot machine).
Works fine on both systems and setup is straightforward. I have an inkjet all in one also but basically only use that for scanning. Laser printing is much less cost and no dry ink problems.
Note: this printer goes to sleep and first wakeup print may take a minute or two.

Good Workhorse

This printer replaced my HP4L. It is as good if not better. Double sided printing saves me cost of paper. Print quality is excellent. Feed thru option works great for envelopes. Love it.

I AM A PUBLISHED AUTHOR, BUT SOMETIMES I PRINT SOME SMALL(25)PAGES POEM BOOKS AT HOME. THE BROTHERS TWO SIDED PRINTER IS GREAT. SAVES ME PAPER AND WITH THE MANY PAGES IT WILL PRINT BEFORE A NEW INK SUPPLY IS NEEDED, IT SAVES ME BOTH TIME AND MONEY. BEING WIRELESS, BOTH MY COMPUTER STATIONS USE THE SAME PRINTER. THE BEST PRINTER, FOR FULL OFFICE USE THAT I HAVE PURCHASEED IN OVER 20 YEARS.

DEEP SLEEP

printer prints well and the two sided feature is great BUT the deep sleep feature does not "wake up" many times when using a MAC.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
