Fun to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago to replace the Sunbeam Mixmaster I got for a wedding gift 48 years ago. Although my Mixmaster still worked, I wanted one with a larger bowl and more power. I'm happy with my Artisan mixer so far, although I wish it had come with the Flex Edge Beater instead of the Nylon-Coated Flat Beater--it's a pain to have to flip a switch to tilt the head back in order to scrap the bowl.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make fresh cranberry and walnut bread every year, the batter is very heavy and making two loaves at a time was always difficult and tiring considering I make about 16 when fresh cranberries are in season. This cut the work for sure! Now the hardest part is sorting and chopping all the Cranberries in 1/2.

Bread Made Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have made bread several times, or rather the dough for bread, I don't actually bake my dough in the kitchenaid, probably void the warranty if I did that. Anyway, back to the topic at hand, it has made making bread dough so convenient. It has the strength to knead the dough so I can work on other aspects while it kneads. My wife has been thrilled with how much rye bread I have been making for her.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first stand mixer after many years of using a handheld mixer. It is easy to use with the tilt head and easily change out of the attachments. Black is the color I have and it beautiful!

KitchenAid Made It Easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am excited. This is my very first mixing stand. I have baked for many years using a hand mixer. I do not know why I never purchased one. I knew they existed. But because I consider myself a neat freak, this sizeable appliance would be counter clutter. Now as an overactive 66 years volunteer for the church building fund for the past three years, I bake cakes years round for every occassion. I have created a special counter work area in my small kitchen to accommodate this mixing stand. To my surprise, the stand is beautiful. The color blends wirh other elements in my kitchen.
I received my new Tilt-head stand mixer about a week before the large family gathering. Just in time to use. I was so happy with the size of the mixing bowl. I love to bake double height frosting-free bundt cakes. The tilt-head made it easy to change from beater to whip wire in a snap. The pouring shield is my new best baking assistant. Adding nuts, berries, etc...is wonderful. Continous stir while adding other ingredients.
I also purchased the stand mixer sifter+ scale attachment. I only used it once. I wish it was larger. I plan to try out my stand food grinder after the holidays. I love this mixer and the versatility it allows with the many attachments.
