The Most Valuable Part of Our Kitchen

I had a slightly smaller version before and once you try a KitchenAid you can never go back XD I absolutely love everything about their stand mixers! Their heavy duty appliances make everything in the kitchen 20 times easier! Some people may think they don't bake much, however it's NOT just for baking! Anything you mix it helps. For example I make twice baked mashed potatoes so once I cook the already peeled potatoes I just throw them in the stand mixer it mashes them up in like 30 seconds, I will add the cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, eggs, seasonings, ect and it'll make something that would take me 30 min to do by hand, be done in less than 5 minutes!!!!!! Treat yo self!!!!!!!!!!!

Not as good as my previous KitchenAid mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my previous KitchenAid mixer for close to 15 years before I replaced it with this one. I don't use the mixer every week, but have some regular things I bake. I used the mixer to make breadsticks, which require a 7-minute knead on medium/high. I had made these dozens of times with my previous mixer, with no issue. When I made them with the new mixer, the motor burned out at about 6 minutes! I alerted KA and they were quick to replace, so I assumed I maybe got a faulty one. I've since used the new mixer a few times, and on another bread-like bake, had to quit early in my planned 6-minute knead because I could feel the top of the mixer getting really hot--which is what happened before the motor burned out on the first one! I am so disappointed. I don't think it's too much to ask for the motor to stand up to 10 minutes or so, and unlike my old mixer, this new model just seems incapable. A bummer given I love to bake, and the mixer was expensive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No splattering!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for Christmas 2023. I have only used it a few times for basic mixing but I love it. I throw everything in, turn it on and walk away to put all my stuff up. My mixer splattered everything all over my walls. My kitchen aid is great!
