The stand mixer makes baking easy. It has made getting into the hobby fun and enjoyable and I'm getting to treat all of my friends regularly to my baking experiments.

Missing spring on shaft that the mixing blades go

I received this as a gift and the spring on the shaft is missing, where the paddles hook on to take the play out of the beaters not a happy camper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A month ago we replaced a broken, but still working Hamilton Beach stand mixer because we wanted something that took various attachments and was of better quality. This KitchenAid stand mixer was exactly what we needed and wanted. We bought 5 different attachments for it. We use it almost daily for everything from making zucchini noodles to cauliflower rice, cheese grating to ice cream making, and more. I do most of the cooking because I'm disabled (I have an autoimmune disease that targets my joints) and not working, my wife is on-call 24/7. This stand mixer with all its attachments makes life so much easier. I couldn't be happier. I know people that have had KitchenAid products in their homes for decades and have never had a bad thing to say about them. I plan to buy more countertop appliances in the future.
