Matte finish is nice-motor too weak for my needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this one to replace my old one I had for many years and loved. My older model white one shot fire out the back recently while baking cookies with my granddaughter. I didn’t realize there are different motors in different models; I only looked for the quart size when replacing it. The new Artisian one doesn’t have same strength motor as my previous one. This one is not as powerful for making my German Christmas cookies and Christollen dough. It bogs down, the beater rises out of the dough and it jumps on the counter trying to mix the heavy doughs. I don’t have much choice but to sell it and get a different model w a better motor. It’s also SO heavy, I struggle to move it from bakers rack to counter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sturdy and I love it!

I bought my first set of attachments last March and it broke. But I love that it has warranty and I got my replacement! I love it! Will recommend the products! :)

Great Mixer And Best Color!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been on the fence about buying a stand mixer for a really long time, mainly because I thought I was strong enough to mix the most viscous ingredients with my own two hands-- turns out I'm not. Thus, I made the move to buy a stand mixer, and Kitchenaid mixers have no parallel. And what luck! I found one that was exactly my color-- matte black. Sinister, no-nonsense about it. I brought it home and put it to work, and wondered aloud how I made food items without it. I highly recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 4 th kitchen aid mixer. I went to a major department store, that had a display of all the colors. But in stock they only had black or silver. Started to bake Christmas cookies and did not like the sound of the motor. Very disappointed this time. Doesn’t feel like it has the same power
