I love my new mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted a kitchen aid mixer so this year I decided to get myself one as a Mother's day gift to myself (I'm a new mom so it's my first time celebrating Mother's Day). I'm so happy I did, I just love it...I'm essentially a backing machine lol and I'm using it for everything from making cakes and cupcakes to bread and pretzels. All I need now is some extra bowls :).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I waited to buy this appliance for a Christmas present to each other. We love it and are finding ways to incorporate its use into our cooking/baking routines. I do have to use a rubber spatula to scrape the bottom and sides mor than I would have expected but that is a small price to pay. It is a larger appliance so we had to do some rearranging of the counter.

Baking Macarons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After I received this as a gift from my parents I was ecstatic the only issue I had with the device was an accidental scratch that was on the back end. After talking to customer service they informed me that they would happily replace the machine and atop that I could use the one that was currently in my possession. Immediately after hearing this amazing news I placed an order for all the ingredients necessary to make macarons. This being the first time I have ever used an automatic mixer it took a moment to get use to but after one batch of test egg whites it was rather easy to use. After baking the macarons came out perfect, beautiful flakey shell and perfectly risen feet that did not splurge everywhere. After using the machine to create these beautiful shells I decided to use lavender butter cream as the filling for my first batch, the others were orange and raspberry flavored. The butter cream turned out phenomenal perfectly homogenous and smooth. The entire process took me significantly less time then it normally would have to complete thanks to my KitchenAid.
